Womb Surround Process Workshop
The safest and most effective form for healing complex trauma from the beginning of life. Transform and integretate your birth, gestation, ancestral and early attachment imprints with somatically attuned and highly experienced practitioners.
Being an Adult is Hard
Not only because life in this world is hard, but because so many of us begin our life front-loaded with challenges. Challenges we didn't create. Challenges we don't even remember or know about. They exist in the memory of our body and our psyche and there isn't a day our life is not impacted by them, even if we don't consciously realize it.
A Womb Surround Process Workshop was created to be the optimum environment for lovingly and spaciously uncovering early life experiences we may not remember as adults. This helps us access more life force and make new choices about how we live. Ray Castellino started creating this form in the 1980s and evolved it over the next four decades.

“Elan is masterful in creating a field of safety and trust.”
Elan is masterful in creating a field of safety and trust; the ground of love where true transformation and connection to our innate intelligence guides the way. I wholeheartedly recommend him as a facilitator of the Womb Surround process.

“Layers of shame I wasn’t even conscious of had dissolved.”
I asked Elan to facilitate a Womb Surround for my Birthday. I couldn’t have imagined a better gift for myself. He showed up with such a clear quality of commitment, presence and love that I could not help but feel touched deep in my heart with teary gratitude. I emerged from the healing journey in a potent way. I recall walking around for weeks feeling a distinct lack of apology for my existence; layers of shame I wasn’t even conscious of had dissolved. In its place was a wonderful felt sense clarity that I was wanted, loved and supported by Life.

If you are reading this (and you are not Artificial Intelligence) you grew your body and nervous system inside your biological mother.
Plenty of science and nature's survival instincts show that how your mother is feeling, the lifestyle she lived, what she fed and ingested and her relationships all impact your developing brain and nervous system.
This lays the groundwork for how you sleep as an Adult, how you nuture and take care of yourself, how you feel and show up in intimate relationships and what you attune to and pay attention to in your life.
The first significant movement, action and follow-through you ever went through was your birth. No matter the circumstances, it is a challenging and potentially a life-threatening (too often so) experience.
Your first exprience entering the world in your body sets the stage for how you complete projects and tasks, engage in transitions and big events in your life and how your brain and body move together.
Babies are the biggest sponges of the world at this time stage of development. They take deep into their being the feelings and thoughts that mother, father (if he is there or not), birthworkers (midwives or doulas) or hospital staff and obstetricians have.
If you are born via cesarian or vaginally, if there are no drugs or mulitple drugs and interventions and if it is an emergency or scheduled all impact us foundationally and in our own unique ways.
None of us survive without loving and being loved. Attachment and bonding are essential to nourishment, learning, rest, curiousity and the most important experience of belonging.
How your bonds formed or didn't form with your family set the stage for how you form and maintain relationships as an adult.
A fundamental choices little ones are too often presented with is do I get to be me or do I get to belong. This sets the underlying survival strategy and inner conflict that I don't get to fully be me and also be loved.
Creating a space to slow down to explore and understand the formation of our inner little one opens the possibility for us to choose differently as adults and have both authenticity and belonging.
